I just got my Z18-140 and I really like how it is performing and how its IQ is way way much better compared to the old F 18-140 DX. Smaller and lighter than the 50-250 kit lens and almost as wide as the 16-50, the 18-140 serves as a single walk around substitute and works well for most of the shots I take. Have not used it much yet but seems solid and fast and silent auto focus and VR work well. IT has a plastic mount but seems rugged and the shorter lens balances well.
