Crystal Structure of Lactate Dehydrogenase A in complex with inhibitor compound 29 and NADH
Biological Unit for 5W8K: tetrameric; determined by author and by software (PISA) Molecular Graphic ?
The models of LDH-A in complex with pyruvate, OXM, TART, and 5-ALA were based on the high-resolution X-ray crystal structure of LDH-A tetramer in complex with NADH and a synthetic inhibitor (PDB ID: 5W8K) [12].

The LDHA structures were downloaded from the PDB, pdb code 5W8K [63], 5W8I [65], 5IXS [66], 4QO7 [66], 4ZVV [67] and 4M49 [68]. The proteins were prepared by adding hydrogen atoms, fixing ionization state and heteroatoms and removing crystallization co-factors using Maestro protein preparation wizard [69].
