Conclusion. The Leica Q (Typ 116) is the best serious compact camera that Leica have ever released, offering fantastic image quality, great handling and build-quality, and a number of surprisingly innovative features which include very fast auto-focusing, although it's also the most expensive too.

The Leica Q is a high-end full-frame enthusiast compact with a 24MP CMOS sensor with no anti-aliasing filter. It features a 28mm F1.7 ASPH lens with aperture and manual focus rings, as well as a clever distance guide that slides into place when in macro mode.
The Leica Q is the most affordable full-frame Leica camera to date. Its 24MP sensor is good though not class-leading, and the fixed 28mm F1.7 Summilux lens is superb.
Leica's fab new full-frame, fixed-lens camera is its most mainstream to date, excluding the Leica-branded Panasonics. It's still Leica-expensive, though.
